We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Automation & Intelligence team within the Sales industry. This role is vital to our company, as you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the Automation & Intelligence sector, specifically within the Waste Water industry.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and improve existing services.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on sales performance analytics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically within the Waste Water or similar industry.
- Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Automation & Intelligence sector, and its application within the Waste Water industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
