Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on customer-supplied products, using equipment including touch probe CMM, optical CMM, laser scanners, and hand tools
• Perform First Article Inspections, Capability Studies, and Gage R&R studies
• Create and modify programs for CMM and Optical CMM based on interpretation of complex drawings
• Troubleshoot and solve CMM program issues
• Complete and maintain all necessary documentation to ensure complete accuracy
• Perform equipment checks to confirm calibration
• Communicate with customers to ensure accuracy

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience with precision inspection using touch or vision CMMs
• Experience with PC-DMIS programming
• Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read and understand complex blueprints using ASME Y14.5 and ISO standards
• Preferred Certifications: ASME, AUKOM, ASQ CQI, CQT, CQE
