Job Details
The Controller will be responsible for managing all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of the company, supporting decision-making for ongoing and future projects, and leading a team to maintain efficient accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the company’s accounting operations, including general ledger, job costing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business growth and project management.
Monitor project costs, contract billing, and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
Implement and enforce internal controls and financial policies to optimize efficiency and minimize risk.
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
Evaluate and improve accounting software and reporting systems to enhance financial processes.
