We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Contracts Manager to join our fast-paced Sales industry. This role is a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing team, driving the negotiation and management of contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract law, drafting, redlining, and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of managing complex contracts.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a variety of contracts, including sales, licensing, and service agreements.
- Maintain and manage the contract database, ensuring all contracts are accurately recorded, updated, and easily accessible.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure contracts meet business objectives and comply with legal requirements.
- Review contracts for potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate the contract approval process, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
- Participate in board meetings, providing expert advice on contract matters.
- Implement and manage a contract lifecycle management system, ensuring efficient contract processing and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures in all contract activities.
- Train and guide staff on contract procedures and best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in contract law and relevant industry regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. A Juris Doctor degree will be considered a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the Sales industry.
- Demonstrable experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining contracts.
- Solid understanding of contract law and its application in the business environment.
- Proficiency in using contract database systems.
- Experience in licensing agreements and corporate governance.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential contract risks and propose effective solutions.
- Experience in participating in board meetings and providing expert contract advice.
