Responsibilities
As a Corporate Attorney, you will
- Provide legal advice and counsel to the organization on a wide range of legal and policy issues, including but not limited to corporate law, contract law, employment law, and intellectual property law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of complex commercial agreements and contracts.
- Oversee and manage all corporate legal processes (e.g., intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents).
- Develop company policy and position on legal issues.
- Conduct and coordinate research into a variety of legal issues.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Georgia State Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate attorney, preferably within a law firm or in-house.
- Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.
- Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
