Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, forensic accounting, federal investigation, and fraud examination. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting forensic investigations into financial fraud and money laundering activities
- Analyzing financial data to identify patterns and trends that may indicate fraudulent activity
- Preparing detailed reports and presentations of findings to management and law enforcement agencies
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and evidence
- Providing expert testimony in legal proceedings related to financial fraud and money laundering
- Staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations related to financial crime and fraud
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA certification required
- 3 years of experience in forensic accounting or a related field
- Knowledge of federal investigation procedures and Title 18 and Title 31 regulations
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification preferred
- Experience with money laundering investigations and financial fraud detection
- Active DoD Secret (Top Secret preferred)
