As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where your skills and expertise in litigation will be utilized to their fullest potential. You will be a key player in our dynamic team, supporting attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process from the inception of a case to the discovery period, through trial and post-trial findings and appeals. You will be expected to handle a wide variety of complex tasks and work independently under general supervision.

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where your skills and expertise in litigation will be utilized to their fullest potential. You will be a key player in our dynamic team, supporting attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process from the inception of a case to the discovery period, through trial and post-trial findings and appeals. You will be expected to handle a wide variety of complex tasks and work independently under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents such as legal arguments, motions, contracts, and agreements.
- Case management involving maintaining document control, case file tracking and tracing, and electronic discovery.
- Investigation and research on complex litigation matters to assist lawyers in preparation for depositions and trial.
- Review and analyze legal material and coordinate document productions.
- Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court.
- Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.).
- Act as a liaison between the trial team and third parties such as clients, vendors, experts, and court personnel.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in using legal database software and other software for litigation support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload under time pressure.
- Strong research and report-generating skills.
- Experience in creating and maintaining litigation databases for large cases.
- Familiarity with the stages of litigation and trial processes.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with multiple individuals.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of legal terminologies and principles.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
