• Personally handle a file load of personal injury and medical malpractice cases
• Extensive client interaction including intake and subsequent communications
• Prepare demands and negotiate successful resolutions on behalf of clients
• Attend and advocate for clients at depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trial
• Independently research, interpret and apply legal principles in the context of motion practice and litigation
• Attend and participate in weekly team meetings relating to the evaluation and advancement of injury and malpractice cases
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys, junior attorneys, and paralegals in litigating complex medical negligence and serious injury cases
• Active involvement in all phases of client representation from intake, initial office conferences, case development, demand, negotiation, and resolution
  
  

Job Details

• 5 years in legal practice
• Experience in Personal Injury Litigation, Complex Litigation, and/or Medical Malpractice Litigation
• Fully licensed to practice law in Rhode Island
• Licensing in Massachusetts, and/or Connecticut is a plus
