Job Details

Responsibilities

• Oversee all plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Develop and manage budgets for labor, maintenance, and operational costs to optimize financial performance.
• Implement and refine production processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance workplace safety.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental and workplace safety standards.
• Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Manage facility maintenance and coordinate repairs to uphold optimal plant functionality.
• Oversee inventory control, shipping, and storage to streamline operations and meet production goals.
• Collaborate with HR and Safety teams to enforce workplace safety, training, and development initiatives.
  
  

What you need for this position

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field (or 5 years of experience managing a 24/7 plant).
• Proven experience in plant management with a strong focus on budgeting, P&L management, and operational leadership.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive team performance and maintain a results-driven environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry safety and environmental regulations.
• Qualified Pesticide Applicator’s License (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed, to support production demands.
