Responsibilities
As a Permanent Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include
- Leading and managing the project team to ensure the successful execution of all projects from conception to completion.
- Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Developing and managing project budgets, ensuring that all projects are delivered within the agreed budget and timelines.
- Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth project operations and resolve any potential issues.
- Implementing risk management processes to identify, assess, and manage project risks.
- Ensuring that all projects comply with industry standards and legal regulations.
- Providing regular project updates to stakeholders and making necessary adjustments to project plans as required.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Manager role should possess
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to improve operational efficiency.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent team management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Lean Manufacturing would be a plus.
