We are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a significant impact. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and supporting our financial team. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our company, and will have the opportunity to contribute to our financial strategy and long-term financial goals.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to

• Overseeing routine daily accounting activities including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
• Analyzing financial data and preparing reports reflecting the company's financial performance.
• Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
• Ensuring all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Assisting in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• Coordinating with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
• Evaluating computerized accounting systems and providing recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should possess the following

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as experience in preparing monthly financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial legislation.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions.
