Social Media Specialist

As the Social Media Specialist, you will manage and create content for multiple social media channels, execute a strategic content calendar, and engage with our community to elevate JobTread Software's brand. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing team and Founder & CEO to produce compelling content, foster relationships with followers, and connect with potential customers through engagement and social media prospecting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a social media content calendar that aligns with JobTread Software's brand voice and marketing objectives.
• Produce engaging social media content, including videos for JobTread Software's channels and the Builder Stories series, to highlight our impact in the construction industry.
• Manage, repurpose, and optimize content for all JobTread Software social media accounts as well as the Founder & CEO's personal Facebook, ensuring brand consistency and message alignment.
• Engage with JobTread Software's social media community, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a positive, interactive online presence.
• Lead social media prospecting in relevant industry groups and forums (e.g., Facebook and Reddit) to connect with potential customers and influencers.
• Proactively monitor industry trends, participate in relevant discussions, and share insights to boost JobTread Software's visibility and authority.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow JobTread Software's audience and engagement across platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to refine strategies, continuously improving reach, engagement, and brand visibility.
• Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep JobTread Software's social media presence fresh, engaging, and effective.
• Support paid social media initiatives where appropriate to amplify organic efforts.
• Contribute to other marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience managing social media channels, with a proven track record of increasing brand engagement and follower growth.
• Strong skills in content creation, especially in video production, editing, and repurposing for social media.
• Excellent writing and storytelling abilities, with a knack for tailoring messaging to various audiences.
• Proficiency in social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and experience with data-driven strategy adjustments.
• Experience with social media prospecting and community engagement, particularly in industry-specific groups on platforms like Facebook and Reddit.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Knowledge of the construction or SaaS industry is a plus, enhancing the ability to connect with our target audience.
