Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds and overall health status.
- Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
- Administer wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement, and infection control measures.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care management, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks and other electronic health record systems.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in wound care techniques and technologies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to wound management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in wound care or related fields such as med surg or LTACs environments.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques may enhance patient assessment capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations are essential.
