Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
• Perform bookkeeping work, including posting data or keeping other records concerning the shipment of goods.
• Answer inquiries regarding rates, routing, or procedures.
• Resolve discrepancies
• Review documents such as purchase orders, sales tickets or charge slips, to compute fees or charges due.
• Consult sources such as rate or company representatives to determine specific charges or information such as rules, regulations, or government tax and tariff information.
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
• Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
• Ability to be held accountable or answerable for one’s conduct.
