John Kline Septic Services, a family-owned business with 65 years of history, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to join the team. This position will serve as the friendly and professional face of our company. This Customer Service Representative is essential to providing an excellent customer experience, handling inquiries, scheduling services, and supporting the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
- Answer inbound calls and emails to assist customers with questions about services, pricing, and scheduling.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and urgent service needs.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiency, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and account information in the company database.
- Support customers with billing questions and process payments as needed.
- Communicate with field technicians to ensure seamless service delivery and update customers on service progress.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a bonus.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a trade or service industry (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, septic).
- Familiarity with septic systems or experience in a similar industry.
