What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Expeditor position at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory?
You will proactively contact suppliers for delivery updates to schedule-critical purchases, coordinate any changes with technical team, and enter into EBSS for tracking and triaging
Track information and share metrics to help identify improvement areas
Coordinate communications between the Business, Construction, & Facilities Department (BCFD) Buyer, APL Technical Team, and Program-Critical Suppliers; this includes feeding information about deliveries, inspection, shipping, quantity, invoice, and payment discrepancies
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- The ability to document effectively
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- The ability to clearly communicate in both verbal and written formats
- Have 4 years of working in a professional office environment
- Have SharePoint, Excel, and/or EBSS (Oracle) experience
- Have experience in the federal procurement industry
- Have 5 or more years working in a professional working environment
