Position Summary:
- The Dietary Assistant provides services in the preparation, service and sanitation of foods in the cafeteria, patient services and special functions
- Provides indirect patient care through meal service
- Strong customer services skills to appropriately interact with coworkers and customers
Shift:
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Rotating Shift
Weekend Work Required
Location: Howard County Medical Center,
5755 Cedar Lane, Columbia, MD 21044
Education/ Experience
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required
- One (1) year of relevant food or customer service experience preferred
Licensure/Certifications:
ServSafe Certification preferred
Salary Range: Minimum 15.61 per hour - Maximum 17.99 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
