Basic Functions
The Inside Sales Manager for the Water Well Screens department is responsible for overseeing the internal sales team, managing customer relationships, and supporting the overall sales process. This role involves coordinating sales activities, providing customer support, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and the company's operations and engineering teams. The Inside Sales Manager will focus on driving customer satisfaction, optimizing internal sales processes, and achieving sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the inside sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to meet sales goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, responding to inquiries and providing exceptional service.
- Coordinate with the Director of Sales to execute sales strategies and meet departmental objectives.
- Support the sales team with customer quotations, order processing, and follow-up on inquiries.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of customer orders into the system and monitor the status of ongoing orders.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to upper management as required.
- Collaborate with marketing to support sales campaigns, promotions, and customer outreach.
- Handle escalations and resolve any customer complaints or issues efficiently and professionally.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the inside sales workflow.
- Monitor and maintain customer records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of sales data.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and contribute to overall sales planning and strategy development.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.
