DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS:
Statement of Work:
The Office Sustainment lead will support the Air Force Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection (AF/A4) as their main client, while also having the opportunity to engage with this Directorate s multitude of stakeholders, dispersed both domestically and internationally. They will serve as a technical writer, facilitator, and will have the opportunity to present to senior level clients.
Primary Job Duties:
- Job Duty 1 with % of time Develop and maintain AF/A4 information security, industrial security, personnel security, PII, and SAF Security. Write and revise key documentation on behalf of the client. There will be many opportunities to write key DoD strategies, documents, papers, and reports that will be utilized by the client s entire organization. (40%).
- Job Duty 2 Manage A4 COOP/CAT program appointment, scheduling, and recalls for A4 programs. (20%)
- Job Duty 3 Process security clearances, verify document signatures and processes, ensure timely execution of security processes. (20%)
- Job Duty 4 Assist the A4 Director of Staff with security related projects. (10%)
- Job Duty 5 - Analyze requirements, strategize solutions, and pitch proposals to the client on new IT capabilities within the client s technology portfolio (10%)
Required skills/Level of Experience:
- Bachelor degree
- Top Secret clearance is required
- 3 years of experience in Security or Office Sustainment type positions
- 5 years of experience with Headquarters Air Force
- Experience with SAP Security- Department of Defense Manual 5205.07, Volume 1, Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual: General Procedures
- Writing Skills: Strong writing capability and has interest in writing. Prior experience in technical or formal writing (proposal work, technical reports, whitepapers, thesis, etc.) should be mentioned
- Verbal skills: able to translate technical requirements to non-technical members or clients
- Client Relationship Management: ability to build lasting relationships with the client and
- Presentation skills: ability to present to senior clients, or present on behalf of the client in key forums
- Has an interest in Information Technology; a background in IT is not required
- Extremely detail oriented, with strong skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with taking detailed minutes at high-level meetings
