Joint School District No. 171 is seeking applicants for the Timberline Schools Principal (Kindergarten-12th grade) for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicant should have strong leadership skills and an emphasis on community relations, team building, professional growth, and an equal and ethical approach to problem solving.
Job Summary: To provide leadership and managerial oversight to the instructional program and school operations. To promote the educational development of each student.
- Qualifications:
- Current Idaho Administrative Principal Endorsement or the ability to obtain one
- Education level of Master’s degree preferred
- Strong background in curriculum, supervision, discipline, team building, and technology
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
- Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Salary range: $93,039 - $99,761, based on education and experience (202 day contract)
Benefits: Employee medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage paid 100% by the district. Family benefits paid at 80% coverage. $20,000 employee life insurance and $2,000 dependent life insurance paid by the district. Eligible for PERSI retirement.
