Position Information:Joint School District No. 171 is seeking applicants for the Timberline Schools Principal (Kindergarten-12th grade) for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicant should have strong leadership skills and an emphasis on community relations, team building, professional growth, and an equal and ethical approach to problem solving.
Job Summary:To provide leadership and managerial oversight to the instructional program and school operations. To promote the educational development of each student.
Qualifications:
Current Idaho Administrative Principal Endorsement or the ability to obtain one
Education level of Master’s degree preferred
Strong background in curriculum, supervision, discipline, team building, and technology
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Able to work under pressure and deadlines
Maintain confidentiality of staff and students
Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Salary:Salary range: $93,039 - $99,761, based on education and experience (202 day contract)
Benefits:Employee medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage paid 100% by the
district. Family benefits paid at 80% coverage. $20,000 employee life insurance and $2,000 dependent life insurance paid by the district. Eligible for PERSI retirement.
