What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administration Assistant position at Jomax?
We are a boutique collection agency specializing in commercial surety collections, looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our small but mighty team! The position is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Answering phones, taking messages, and redirecting calls
- Greeting visitors
- Maintaining office supplies
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Scanning and faxing
- Data entry of new accounts
- Processing and depositing incoming payments and transmitting outgoing payments
- Pulling and saving reports
- Reviewing and responding to disputes
- Compiling documents to be emailed or mailed
- Performing other departmental and/or divisional duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following:
- Reliability and punctuality
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Professional attitude
- High school diploma
- 3 years of secretarial and/or administrative experience (or equivalent experience providing intermediate-level office support)
- Strong proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Ability to respond and adapt to changing priorities
- Surety knowledge is a huge plus!
- Ability to pass a background check
