Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The accounting assistant role is responsible for balancing general ledger accounts, reviewing various reports, posting entries, and providing assistance to other team members.
Duties
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation and accounting tasks
- Process accounts payable
- Prepare and enter daily and monthly general ledger transactions
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Research and adjust all open items, cash imbalances and variances
- Prepare a variety of reports
- Prepare and submit quarterly call report
- Prepare tax returns
- Process payroll
Skills
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Demonstrate analytical expertise including ability to plan and resolve problems effectively
- Ability to multitask efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment
- Detail oriented with attention to accuracy
- Be willing to work as part of a team or individually
Requirements
- Degree or currently pursuing a degree and/or experience in related field
- Must be able to be bonded
- Must be able to pass a credit check
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
Job Type: Part-time
