Job Title : Hygiene Production Assistant Location : Naugatuck, Connecticut Hours / Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm Type : Direct Hire Compensation : $18 - $20 per hour depending on experience, plus $2K bonus and generous benefits package Responsibilities CLEANING & SANITATION Wash and sanitize production trays, racks, bins and accessories Clean walk off sanitation mats Collect trash in production and warehouse areas and place in collection bin Document cleaning on designated logs Ensure that cleaners in the washing area are clearly labeled SECONDARY RESPONSIBLITIES Assist Manufacturing Preparing trays and cartons for packing Packing and metal detection of finished products Spread granulated product onto trays Weigh and pack finished products (as needed) Apply labels on packaged product containers (as needed) Cross train to assist and back-up Quality Plant Hygienist with various facility cleaning activities. Other duties as assigned Requirements High School diploma is required Valid Driver’s License & car required Cleaning experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Must be able to safely lift 50lbs Self-motivated, able to perform work while standing for most of the day Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team Benefits Our client provides a comprehensive benefits package. 8% of Gross W2 in 401(k) profit sharing, and generous health benefits.
