Shop Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer/Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting in various construction and maintenance tasks, fast pace and heavy lifting 50 ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare parts for coating following established procedures.
• Blast parts as required per coatings specification.
• Mask parts as required per customer drawings or instructions.
• Load parts or equipment for paint on racks or tables.
• Stage paint jobs in designated areas by use of forklift or push racks.
• Stencil parts as required.
• Touch up, unmask and place completed parts on shipping pallets.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment daily or as instructed.
• Upkeep of coating booths including storage cabinets and storage room.
• Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems.
• Clocks in on all applicable work orders.
• Monitor and submit request for shop tools and supplies.
• Move products or equipment by use of forklift.
• Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas.
• Follow company safety & security guidelines
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Salary : $14 - $16
