About the Job.
The role of the Human Resources Manager actively engages in tactical, strategic, and analytical activities through needs assessment, design, delivery, and success metrics of JPI's Human Resources programs. This position will oversee key HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, legal compliance, and operational support. This role involves managing the recruitment process, designing sourcing strategies, overseeing new hire orientation, and maintaining relationships with educational institutions to attract talent. The HR Manager will collaborate with leadership on performance reviews, manage internal communications, and handle employee transitions such as onboarding and terminations. Additionally, they will develop and facilitate training programs, ensure compliance with employment laws, and maintain accurate HR records in the HRIS system. The role requires a strategic, hands-on approach to enhance the company's HR practices and support the workforce effectively.
This role requires strong leadership and relationship skills with a strong operational focus and a sense of urgency to deliver on Human Resources initiatives, programs, and strategies. The role reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources Services. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Responsible for all phases of the recruitment process for assigned roles by developing sources of qualified candidates, posting, pre-employment screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Design sourcing strategies to identify recruiting needs and determine the most efficient and cost-effective recruiting methods.
- Oversees the delivery of new associate orientation, onboarding journey, and other associate communications across the organization.
- Oversees recruiting programs such as associate referrals, sourcing campaigns, job fairs, and community partnerships.
- Collaborates with business leaders to focus on developing and executing strategies to help attract, engage, and retain top talent.
- Ensures key business metrics related to the recruiting and onboarding process are monitored and goals are achieved.
- Develop strong relationships with key colleges and universities to attract and retain top candidates for JPI's ongoing needs for strong entry-level talent.
- Actively works with leadership on a rotational program that provides program participants with well-rounded exposure and understanding of the different disciplines across JPI.
- Administrates the internship program with the appropriate touch-points with participants.
