Real Estate Transaction Services (RETS) team plays a vital role in guaranteeing policy and regulatory adherence in commercial real estate secured transactions within the Commercial and Industrial Markets under Commercial Bank. This position is integral to a center of excellence dedicated to commercial real estate lending. The role is an entry management role and involves managing various tasks independently while ensuring compliance with FIRREA, FDICIA, and Flood regulations. Critical thinking skills are essential to address challenges that may arise, and the RETS Supervisor must have the expertise in leading and handling complex management tasks for solution.
Job responsibilities
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for the specific role(s), distinguishing nuances related to the various supported markets
- Identify and implement innovative process improvements and efficiencies
- Provide reporting to supported markets and operations partners and represent RETS as a technology liaison
- Perform quality control checks on work performed by team
- Resolve escalation matters regarding direct reports, management, market and operational partners
- Oversee compliance and regulatory initiatives and audits associated with the team
- Prioritize and lead/participate in projects
- Management of the team shared mailbox, including assignment of the various tasks
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7 year's experience in commercial real estate with an emphasis on regulatory compliance in the areas of FIRREA, FDICIA, and Flood
- Advanced professional experience in loan/product operations or a credit/lending environment
- Advanced analytical and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and plan complex, cross-functional initiatives by partnering with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in Excel with the ability to compile and analyze data
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
