JRC Learning Center, is currently hiring a Toddler Assistant Teacher.
Job Summary
- Works cooperatively with the lead teacher in teaching and implementing activities and plans.
- Implement activities that ensure the safety, involvement, and creativity of each individual in the group.
- Work with the Lead Teacher to plan, discuss and implement daily plans in accordance with the current curriculum, incorporating the Ohio Department of Education Standards.

REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in an early education center
- A love for children and strong desire to teach and make a difference
- Understanding of child development skills
- Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple situations effectively
- Organized with attention to detail
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of an Infant/Toddler (Child Development Associate credential) or an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education
The following certifications are required: First-Aid, Communicable Disease, CPR (infant/child/adult) and Child Abuse Certifications within 90 days
Must attend continuing training classes designed to broaden professionalism, education and skill.
