Job Description:

The Manager of IT Operations will oversee the day-to-day management of our IT infrastructure and operations. The incumbent must possess a strong background in IT management, with specific experience in a regulated environment. They will be responsible for ensuring the stability security and compliance of our IT systems., as well as leading initiatives to optimize and streamline our operations

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network infrastructure, systems administration, help desk support, and cybersecurity.

Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of IT projects and initiatives.

Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of our IT systems and data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to support business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring that external IT services and solutions meet our business needs and quality standards.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, leveraging technology to increase efficiency and productivity.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our operations and making recommendations for adoption.

Prepare and present reports, metrics, and analysis to senior management, demonstrating the effectiveness and value of IT operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, ITIL, PMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are a plus

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on infrastructure management and operations.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

In-depth knowledge of IT systems and technologies, including networking, server administration, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as FDA guidelines and GxP compliance.

Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational change.

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.

Experience with IT security and compliance, including knowledge of HIPAA, FDA regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong problem solving and decision making abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.

Shift: Monday – Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

Hiring Wage: $85,750 - $129,900 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. See full list of benefits below for our complete compensation package.
