Duties
- Greet patients upon arrival and provide them with necessary information regarding their treatment plans.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, ensuring efficient use of time for both patients and providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment history and insurance information.
- Assist in explaining treatment options and financial responsibilities to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing phone inquiries.
- Stay updated on medical/dental terminology and office protocols to provide informed support.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is required.
- Eaglesoft experience preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation.
- Experience in medical administrative support roles will be beneficial for this position.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
