Security Guard Judson Manor (Full-time)
32 hours per week
Schedule and Shift:
Sunday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Thursday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Friday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Saturday, 3:00PM - 11:30PM
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Responsible for the daily security operation of the Judson Manor facility including residents, employees and visitors. Incorporate all security procedures and policies. Report to the Director of Security concerns involving security in and about the facility in a timely fashion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Report to the Director of Security any concerns and activities in a timely fashion.
To monitor parking areas inside and outside the facility and notify the Director of any incidents in a timely fashion.
To report all situations and incidents in a timely fashion, to the Director of Security.
To perform detex round of the facility. (Using the detex gun to hit detex keys located throughout the facility at strategic locations).
To perform door tag check. (Checking each apartment to see that the resident has placed the Judson door tag on the door of the apartment. If the tag is not out call the resident to remind them. If no response, call nurse and enter apartment to check safety of resident. Complete door tag forms).
To monitor the complete facility. (All floors, roof top, tub rooms, empty apartments, community areas, rest rooms, basement, and dining areas).
To answer and direct calls to proper personnel and locations.
To monitor all entrances and exits to the facility.
To monitor all personnel entering the facility (recording their arrival, their purpose and their exit.
To record deliveries and notify departments accordingly.
During emergency situations (weather, fire, safety, security) contact and advise all employees by way of “ALL PAGE” If needed contact proper authorities (fire department, police department) of issues requiring their intention.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
High school diploma, good writing skills, professional appearance and demeanor.
