Jungle Boys is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist with a strong background in recruiting and staffing. This position will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The recruiter will be responsible for interviewing and sourcing qualified candidates and coordinating job fairs while following company and industry guidelines.


Requirements:
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Utilize various channels (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to actively search for and attract potential candidates.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and match them with job requirements.
  • Conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates' suitability for the role.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Evaluate candidates' technical skills, soft skills, and cultural fit for the organization.
  • Conduct reference checks to verify candidates' employment history and performance.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Assist in the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Utilize and manage the ATS to track applicant progress, maintain candidate data, and generate reports.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring landscapes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates for future opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of the company's employer brand.
  • Provide feedback to hiring managers and other stakeholders to improve the recruitment process continually.

Required Skills/ Abilities:
  • Ability to work as a team with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain agile in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work successfully with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to learn and process new information quickly.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations is crucial to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, And PowerPoint; Internet Search Engine skills
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and other recruitment technologies is increasingly important.
  • Strong people skills and networking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage time.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively "sell" job opportunities to candidates, showcasing strong persuasive skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field preferred.
  • Four or more years of recruitment experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Able to travel as needed.
