Our client, a manufacturing company in the Leigh Valley area is searching for a Sr. HR Manager to join their team. In this role, you will report to the Chief People Officer and will supervise two HR Generalists who support compliance documentation, employee relations initiatives, and labor relations administration, ensuring effective implementation of collective bargaining agreements and workplace policies.

Key Responsibilities :

HR Business Partnership

  • Work closely with the Chief Supply Chain leadership team to understand the function,

vision, and devise an HR plan that supports the achievement of the supply chain vision

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the HR centers of excellence to ensure that the talent
  • acquisition, talent management and learning needs for supply chain function are met

    Labor Relations

  • Direct collective bargaining processes and negotiating labor agreements
  • Develop and implement labor relations strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Manage grievance procedures and represent the organization in arbitration hearings
  • Serve as primary contact with union representatives and facilitate dispute resolution
  • Manages Labor Relations Meetings
  • Employee Relations

  • Design and implement employee relations programs to enhance workplace culture
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver training programs on workplace conduct, harassment prevention, and DEI initiatives
  • Coach managers on performance management and employee engagement strategies for
  • bargaining members.

  • Mediate workplace conflicts and facilitate resolution discussions
  • Compliance Management

  • Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Develop, implement, and maintain workplace policies and procedures
  • Manage internal audits of HR practices and documentation
  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trending issues
  • Lead responses to EEOC charges and other administrative complaints
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment law changes and update policies accordingly
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in labor relations, Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 10 years of combined experience in labor relations, employee relations and HR business
  • partner to the supply chain / manufacturing function, 5 of which in a leadership capacity

  • Has previous experience working in a unionized environment
  • Deep knowledge of labor laws, NLRA, and employment regulations
  • Professional certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) is a plus
  • Experience managing compliance programs and conducting workplace investigations
  • Strong background in policy development and implementation
