POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition, the Human Resources Administrative Coordinator will function as an administrative support resource and cooperative Human Resources team member providing the best customer service, with specific knowledge in the administrative activities of Human Resources department.The main responsibility of the Human Resources Administrative Coordinator is to provide information to employees regarding policies and procedures ,providing general support to the Director of HR and the HR staff, and maintaining electronic records of personnel actions in the Authority's HRIS database.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provides overall administrative support to the Human Resources department, including processing documents, records requests andmaintenanceofphysicalandelectronicpersonnelrecords.
Responds to employee questions about human resources policies and procedures and refers more complex questions to Senior Manager as needed.
Supports Talent Acquisition Team with scheduling interviews, handling reference checks and tracking personnel changes
Provides administrative support to Human Resources activities and programs such as compensation, benefits and training.
Assists with projects such as : annual Human Resources events, employee communications and Authority-wide meetings.
Provides overall administrative support to the Human Resources department, including maintaining and processing documentation and maintenance of personnel records.
Compiles and prepares data for statistical reporting.
Input, review, and format data for entry into the HRIS system which impact data maintenance, including mass
updates.
May assist in maintenance, troubleshooting and design of HRIS upgrade and other human resources computer
applications and systems.
Processes requisitions, purchase orders and invoices for Human Resources department.
Provides written and verbal employment verifications.
Maintains discretion in matters of confidentiality.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited four year degree granting college or university with a degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Social or Behavioral Science or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job specific competencies noted below.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of HR administration experience and knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite. Possession of a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification is desirable.
