JOB TITLE: Operations Manager
Full time: 40 hours/wk

Reports to: Executive Director
Just Compassion East Washington County is a non-profit that serves houseless individuals located in Washington County. The Operations Manager will serve as an integral part of the admin team of Just Compassion.
Purpose:
An Internal Operations Manager oversees procedures and develops strategies to optimize daily operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for conducting oversight of programs for quality assurance and compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws. The Operations Manager will recruit, hire, and assist with orienting new employees.
Job Duties:
- Oversee compliance with contract requirements by evaluating and managing day-to-day operations to ensure quality assurance and compliance for the organization
- Related to contracts, collects, inputs, and analyzes data, performance and outcome measures, including developing and tracking cost and grant timelines
- Monitors program budgets, inputs reimbursements, and assists with payroll
- Manages recruiting, hiring, and orienting new employees
- Provide direct supervisory oversight to coordinators, case managers and supervisors.
- Participates in Just Compassion partner meetings (Coalition and HSSN)
- Works closely with Board Committees (Finance and Audit Committee; Programs, Public Policy Committee; Personnel Committee; and Resource Center Committee).
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

- Maintains security of all corporate interests.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to Executive Director
- Works collaboratively with board members.
- Program Supervisors and Staff report to this position.
Education/Certificates/Licenses/Registration:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field REQUIRED
- Valid Driver's License, Insurance, and Reliable Vehicle REQUIRED
- 2 years’ proven experience in an operations management position
- 5 years direct supervision of programming and lead staff.
- HR experience a plus
Experience/Qualifications:
Key to this role is a balance of strong communication, relational, problem solving, and administrative skills. The applicant must be able to demonstrate experience with managing needs and wants of guests and staff while maintaining professional boundaries. Must have skills in budget development, leadership, oversight, policy and planning, strategy, and organizational effectiveness. Ability to develop, implement and review policies and procedures. Ability to assist with budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing. Ability to address problems and opportunities for the company. Candidates must be familiar with general business and management software and aptitude to learn new applications, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be able to work independently, interface with other agencies and represent Just Compassion in a professional manner, and have strong critical thinking, decision-making, and be deadline-oriented.
