Marketing & Operations Manager
Overview
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to the Vice President of Store Operations
Successfully partners with Merchants, Operations, Marketing, Store & Field Management
COMMUNICATION
Responsible for communication regarding Pricing, Promotions and Events for all stores.
Responsible for creating communication to all stores for all marketing channel support (Merchandise Directives, store signage, promotions, POS, email and SMS)
Responsible for creating Events memos to support new products, merchandise promotions, Text-to-Win, Tailoring and other marketing initiatives
Gatekeeper for Merchant communication regarding in-store pricing and promotion to stores
IN-STORE CONTENT
Partner with Merchant Teams on creating Promotional, Sale and Event Signage.
Partner with Marketing to managing content execution of in-store music and video systems segmented by store type as necessary.
IN-STORE PRICING
Responsible for executing Merchant and Marketing channel in-store sales and promotions into store registers via applicable systems.
SPECIAL AND GLOBAL PROJECTS
Responsible for managing execution of global K&G special marketing/promotional programs (i.e. Prom, Church, etc.)
Responsible for managing Gift Card inventory to support quarterly Shop and Save promotions for all store locations
Responsible for managing in-store sign libraries in partnership with Manager, Warehouse Operations
ANALYSIS
Responsible for regular Promotion analysis/recaps to Exec team to rate promotion results with future recommendations
Responsible for year over year Promotions Calendar to include SMS and email messaging
CORPORATE SUPPORT
Responsible for corporate supplies, vending, and kitchen refreshments.
Responsible for corporate contract billing (Janitorial, Traffic Counters).
Co-Responsible for ensuring compliance with all terms of the contract for the proprietor of the Tailor Shop located in all stores
Co-Office manager with Senior Store Operations & Technology Manager
Job Qualifications
Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and position-related experience preferred
Wholesale/Retail Merchandising Experience Required.
Understand product hierarchies and assortments, promotional pricing, events and communication in a wholesale/retail environment
Excellent communicator with ability to tailor communication to a varying audience to foster understanding.
Detail-oriented with ability to balance details and holistic, strategic perspective of business
Outstanding problem solving, communication, and data analysis skills
Significant project management experience
Strong written and oral presentation skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Able to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with business intelligence software for reporting and analysis.
