Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Manage inventory control and maintain optimal stock levels to support production planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Utilize systems such as to track purchases, manage inventory, and analyze supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms.
- Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in purchasing is preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with production planning processes is a plus.
