JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The manufacturing/process engineer position is responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects regarding the production of materials and efficiency of the manufacturing process. Creating programs and designing fixtures/templates for multiple machines in the facility. This role will also oversee maintenance software and perform administrator duties for MTConnect. Under general direction while using engineering principles and concepts, this position will plan and perform moderately complex projects.
Essential Functions
1. New process standardization and implementation.
2. Designs programs and fixtures and/or templates for multiple manufacturing machines.
3. Manages multiple projects at one time
4. Produces drawings, assists in documentation, manufacturing, quality, and planning as required.
5. Acts as technical expert for the company for employees.

Required Education and Experience
1. B.S. degree in Engineering or Design
2. 1 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
3. Strong mechanical design aptitude
4. Strong literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
5. Interpersonal and mechanical aptitude necessary to deal effectively with a variety of departments
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Pro/E modeling and detailing experience
2. MTConnect
3. CREO and AutoCAD
4. Familiar with current GD&T standards
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, on some instances this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit.
