Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to oversee sales activities within a designated Western region of North America. The RSM will be responsible for achieving sales targets through distributor partners' sales teams, developing and executing regional sales strategies and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction within K18's salon and stylist communities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong industry sales background with a proven track record of success, excellent communication skills, enviable interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
Field Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement regional field sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals (measured on new business acquisition and growing in-salon-market-share) through new salon acquisition (50%), nurturing existing key accounts (25%) and growing in-salon-market share (25%)
- Work with VP to set field level sales targets, track performance and pivot plans where needed to ensure quarterly and annual financial targets are met
- Collaborate with K18 field education team to monitor regional market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Train, coach, and mentor teams of distributor sales representatives to maximize their sales of K18 to salons and stylists in designated region
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with distributor field teams and key K18 salons
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management and problem-solving through annual joint business planning process
- Prepare and deliver regular field sales reporting
- Utilize CRM system to track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions
- Analyze sales performance data and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Create and modify presentations as needed for in-field selling needs (sales meetings, salon presentations, etc.)
- Identify new business opportunities and potential customers within the region
- Manage and close high-value, market-leading salon targets which may include complex negotiations
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and networking functions to increase brand awareness and generate leads
- Candidates must be based in California for consideration
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in professional haircare sales ideally through professional distributor partners
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales analytics tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to inform sales strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and time-management and skills
- Highly motivated; self-starter
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
