Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights on financial performance.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all accounting practices.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.

Skills

• Proficiency in public accounting practices is preferred.
• Strong 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with financial report writing to communicate findings effectively.
• Knowledge of accounting software, particularly QuickBooks
• Understanding of GAAP principles to maintain compliance in all financial activities.
