Role : SAP Project Systems – Customer Project Client : Manufacturing client Location : Remote (CST time zone) with travel on site up to 75% to Tulsa Start : 02 / 10 Duration : 6 months plus extension- CTH Job description : The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the SAP Project System module and will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP PS solutions to meet the business needs of our organization. Resource will be stepping into an ongoing implementation, requirement gathering and analysis, configuration, integration, testing and QA. Top things are : Experience with Customer projects, Experience with Result analysis (Revenue Recognition) in PS P.S. On the call they were very particular about the PS person having Customer project experience vs Capital Project. Customer projects are always linked to a sales order. This integrates the project into the normal order-to-cash scenario and offers standard functions such as reporting by function of expense, profit analysis, and automatic revenue recognition. A lot of people will have RevRec within a sales cycle, but will not have it listed as “Customer Project”
