Duties:
- Support new product development and product enhancement through design, prototyping, fabricating, and testing.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop detailed plans and models.
- Fabricate components from various materials including metals, plastics, composites, wood, and fabrics using various processes (cutting, punching, machining, welding, 3D printing, etc.).
- Engage with suppliers for design input, material sourcing, and procurement.
- Ensure all fabricated parts meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Assemble prototypes, oversee testing, and manage project timelines.
- Maintain detailed records of design iterations, materials used, and fabrication processes while ensuring all work adheres to safety protocols.
- Solidworks or similar CAD
- Hands on modeling and prototyping experience
- Able to read engineering drawings, blueprints, schedules, routings
