What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Business Partner position at KALERA, INC?
At Kalera, we’re taking an innovative approach to solving an increasingly urgent, complex global problem—feeding a growing population on a planet that’s already using 80% of its available farming space, not to mention the logistics of getting fresh greens to people wherever they live. While we are taking a scientific approach to solving this problem, with advanced hydroponic vertical farming, we never forget that what people ultimately want are greens that are local, nutritious, and cleaner than organic…always.
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Orlando Florida, we have operational vertical farms in Orlando, Atlanta, and Houston. Additionally, we are rapidly expanding our vertical farming footprint to Denver, Minneapolis, Columbus, Seattle, and Hawaii. Our strategic placement of vertical farms provides scalable access to sustainable produce that is local… always.
Greens are a healthy part of any diet, but Kalera’s green are the most nutritious-- cleaner than organic-- because of how they’re grown. With our technology we’re able to adjust light, humidity, water, and nutrient variables to boost the nutrients in our greens. And growing this way, with no pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers, no genetic modification, and without the threat of harmful pathogens, results in a healthier, better-tasting green.
Vertical farms are not futuristic. They’re now. And they’re our future. Kalera is the vertical farming technology leader, bringing AI, sensors, IoT, cloud-based computing and its own proprietary technology together with food industry veterans. This team and the hydroponic technology they’ve honed and refined for the last decade enable Kalera to grow the cleanest, high-quality produce in a sustainable, affordable way, that is always year-round.
