As a Maintenance Technician at the Kalispel Casino, you will assist personnel with day-to-day activities by performing various duties including:
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 80 pounds. You must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discrimination in sound. Verbal expression and exchange of ideas are also essential, as well as working with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm. Repetitive movement of wrists, hands, and/or fingers is required, along with occasional walking, ascending/descending stairs, raising objects, and stooping. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
You will work in an indoor environment with occasional exposure to outside conditions. The noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.

As a Maintenance Technician at the Kalispel Casino, you will assist personnel with day-to-day activities by performing various duties including:
- Responding to member and staff questions, complaints, or requests in a courteous manner.
- Locating and correcting facility heating, ventilation, and air conditioning malfunctions.
- Assisting with minor and major building repairs or projects.
- Handling facility repairs, including removing and replacing ceramic tile, painting, repairing wallboard, wall vinyl, carpentry, etc.
- Checking electrical systems, making minor repairs, and adjusting HVAC units.
- Inspecting and making minor repairs on general plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Utilizing hand and power tools for general maintenance tasks.
- Completing preventive maintenance checklists and records.
- Ensuring safety practices are followed at all times.
- Operating heavy equipment, man lifts, forklifts, and bobcats.
- Moving office furniture and equipment as requested.
- Performing problem-solving skills in emergency situations.
