Job Title: Payroll Administrative Assistance
Department: 121/145 Maintenance
Reports To: Office Manager
SUMMARY:
The Payroll Administrative Asst. is responsible to the Office Manager for the daily oversight of all time accounting/payroll matters for the Kalitta Air Maintenance facility. The job duties are but not limited to:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Payroll: MISA Sheets (create and collect for all leads and crews), RFTO Sheets (collect and input into MISA), create time cards in MISA for Kalitta, Airplanes/STS and Airtecs employees by adjusting time when needed per MGR authorization exception sheets, input all holiday pay, vacation time, sick time, run reports, fix errors found, complete in MISA, get approved, and submit to proper dept.
Collect all employee change forms, update and send out weekly rosters and production list with all changes and send information to appropriate departments.
Work with representatives from Airplanes/STS and Airtec regarding all employees, check payroll accuracy from their invoices and tracking reports.
Answer phones and communicate with the general public daily regarding our services, vending, invoicing, employment, advertising, and routing of calls as well as sick call line to appropriate person or department.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities at this time.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Must have 3 years experience in accounting/payroll related matters. Must be able to work overtime when required and accessible by cell phone. College degree a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Advanced computer skills a must. Misa knowledge a plus.
