This position serves as a foundational step toward a future career in PR.POSITION REPORTS TO : Account Supervisor LOCATION : New York, NYPOSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, business, or a related field
- Internship experience in PR, marketing, or communications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in online and offline research
- Basic understanding of media types and functions
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Client Support : Develop an understanding of clients' businesses and provide effective support for account administration.
- Administrative Tasks : o Prepare professional, error-free client reports and written materials.o Take notes and contribute in team meetings, following through on action items.o Manage and update media lists and editorial calendars.o Monitor publications and digital platforms for relevant industry and client news.o Handle logistical support for events, trade shows, and client meetings.o Track media coverage and support media outreach efforts.
- Manage Product : Handle product fulfillment and, as necessary : o Create / maintain database to track product inventory and fulfillmento Create / maintain process and documentation for fulfillment.
