Job Description:

Kare Orthodontics is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our patients’ orthodontic experience by providing high-quality lab work. This position requires expertise in orthodontic appliances and a commitment to precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and repair a variety of orthodontic appliances, including retainers, braces, and other devices.
• Interpret orthodontic prescriptions and guidelines to ensure accurate and timely completion of lab work.
• Utilize various dental lab equipment and materials, including 3D printers, casting machines, and finishing tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with orthodontists and clinical staff to ensure proper communication and workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of lab work, including tracking inventory and supplies needed for fabrication.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and follow best practices for infection control and safety in the lab.

Work Schedule:

• Monday & Friday: Work at our Petaluma location
• Tuesday & Wednesday: Work at our San Rafael location
• Thursday: Day off
• Totaling 35 hours per week

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in dental laboratory technology preferred.
• Previous experience in an orthodontic lab setting is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
