SUMMARY:
Create, implement and direct contract administration procedures and policies in supporting the Quality Policy and Customer satisfaction. Compare quotes to new contracts and generate job numbers for release to manufacturing. The Contract Administrator must be able to explain the respective role within the QMS and how their role contributes to quality (Ref. Quality Procedures) The Contract Administrator shall also be aware of ethical behavior and conduct themselves accordingly to Karman policies and procedures (Ref. Employee Handbook).

Compensation:
$30 Hourly
RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY:
· Maintain and Realize AS 9100 procedures and continuous improvement efforts.
• Building Bid Files, electronic, physical and manage Bid Log. Supports proposal writing and submittals.
• Contracts administration, including sales order entries. building job files, electronic and printed copies. Distribute Sales Order packages to respective departments
• Creating spreadsheets; formulating effective charts, reports, and presentations using the Microsoft Office Suite related to production control.
• Create Shippers and Shipping notifications.
• Candidate must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong Written and Verbal communications is a must for interactions with customers, suppliers, peers, and management.
• Purchasing and maintaining office equipment, supplies, and subscriptions
• Knowledge of the following is a plus however not required: Epicor, Exostar, contract administration, and process planning in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Coordinating client meetings, maintaining calendars, orientations, teleconferences, catering and travel. Issuing travel and making travel arrangements, and expense reports.
• Must be able to organize high volume of electronic and physical file folders.
• Must work the necessary hours to complete assigned tasks 7AM -5PM M-F. Some Saturdays.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· Four (4) year degree or equivalent in work experience.
· Five (4) years experience in contract review practices.
· Five (4) years experience in generating and maintaining account receivable reports.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be detail oriented, extremely organized; posses excellent communication skills, and be able to interact well with Customers and Staff.
· Must be assertive, direct and have excellent people skills.
· Must have direct communication with internal customers.
· Must be able receive formal training of changes & customer requirements.
· Must know the QMS basic system of reporting, record keeping and follow instructions.
