Job Overview

The IT Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the technological infrastructure across all Kash Hotels properties. This role includes hardware and software support, network management, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems critical to hotel operations.
Duties
- Provide technical support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including servers, workstations, routers, and printers.
- Manage and troubleshoot network issues to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
- Monitor and maintain property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other hospitality-related software.
- Respond promptly to IT-related service requests from hotel staff and management.
- Train staff on the use of new software and systems.
- Ensure data security and compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized IT support and project implementation.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, MacOS), and IT security principles.
- Familiarity with hospitality software, such as PMS and POS systems, is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for on-call support and occasional travel to hotel properties.
