Concrete Foreman

Kaski Inc is a general contractor in the Duluth, MN area that focuses on their people first! As a company, our goals are to provide good work, encourage improvement, and have fun. As we expand our concrete division into Super flat floors and Concrete tilt up walls, we are looking to add more experienced and qualified team members to our team.

We are searching for an experienced concrete foreman that looks forward to coming to work, is HUNGRY to learn more, and most important of all, has a positive attitude and can have fun working with and leading their crew.

The person hired for this position will be working with the concrete crew, which includes concrete pours, building and laying forms, concrete finishing, etc.

Before you read further, please note- If you cannot pass a drug screen, we cannot hire you. If you have lots of points on your driving record, we will not be able to hire you.

Starting pay will be $35-45/hour based on level of experience. If hired, we offer a starting wage and then re-evaluate after the 90-day probation period. If you deserve a raise, you will get one!

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work on foot for extended periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Must live in the Duluth, MN area.
• Construction experience, preferably 5 years in concrete finishing.
• Ability to read plans and specs
• Be able to lead & manage a crew of 5-10 team members.
• Bring a positive attitude to work every day.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must maintain a professional appearance while working on equipment and maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• This position requires lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods of time, and using equipment such as saws, shears, drills, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, Manage, and hold your team Accountable
• Pouring and finishing all types of concrete: stamped, broom, and power trowel finishes.
• Install concrete to according to the prints and specs.
• Forming and site prep for the concrete placement.
• Complete daily logs of the work completed.
• Communicate with Site superintendent for equipment, materials, and labor needs.
• Calculate accurate concrete quantities.
• Train other team members in concrete finishing techniques.

Typical Job Schedule

· Monday-Thursday 10-hour days

· Friday – 4-hour day

Overtime and longer or shorter days are worked when weather or project schedule requires it.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
